“We hold that all education is divine, that every good gift of knowledge and insight comes from above, that the Lord the Holy Spirit is the supreme educator of mankind, and that the culmination of all education...is that personal knowledge of and intimacy with God in which our being finds its fullest perfection.”
— Charlotte M. Mason

We are a group of interdenominational Protestant families holding to the basic tenants of historic Christianity. Our co-op gatherings incorporate prayer, worship, and teaching which is based on a Christian worldview. All participants in the community are required to sign the following:

our statement of faith

All Scripture is God breathed and in being Truth, requires our complete submission in all areas of life. The flawless Word of God, found only in the sixty six books of the Old and New Testaments, is a complete witness to God’s redemptive acts, resulting in the incarnation of the Living Word, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme and final authority on all matters on which it speaks. On this foundation, we affirm these truths of the faith:

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, sovereign Creator of heaven and earth and Sustainer of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Living Word, who became flesh through His conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. He who is both true God and true man united in one person forever. He died on the cross for our sins, according to the Scriptures. On the third day, He rose again from the dead and ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Most High God.  He is our High Priest and Mediator.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, who has come to glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to our hearts. He convicts us of sin and draws us to Jesus Christ our Savior. The Holy Spirit lives in our hearts, gives us a new life, is our helper in following Christ, and gives us gifts to use in service to others for His church. He instructs and guides us in all truth and prepares us for the day of redemption.

We believe that our salvation is completely dependent on God’s grace, which is a free gift of God apart from works. Without this gift of grace through belief in Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, we would be forever separated from God and condemned for our sins. God attributes His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation and justifies them in His sight.

We believe that salvation involves repentance, a change of mind in respect to God that leads to turning from one’s own way to God’s way. Salvation is found through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and in Christ alone. All who receive Jesus Christ are made new by the Holy Spirit and become the children of God, and with salvation will demonstrate a changed life to live for Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to the earth to judge the living and the dead, to complete history and the eternal plan of God.

We believe that, in the Great Commission, Jesus Christ commands all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to make disciples of all nations. This requires total commitment to Christ who loved us and gave Himself for us. We are called to a life of self‐denying love and service.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
